Are we crying in vain? (see Downloadable PDF for correspondence sent)

Date: September 27th, 2019
Dear Editor/Newsroom,

Enclosed please find a copy of correspondence today resent to our Prime Minister Rowley and our Minister of National Security, Stuart Young. This is the second “gentle reminder”, and third such copy we have sent (since the murders) with the hope that our leaders and our Cabinet would consider a strategically selected Cabinet appointed committee with specific terms of reference and a precise time frame to thoroughly examine ‘security at
sea’ issues, make specific, practical and easy to implement recommendations and report back to our Cabinet.

To date we have not received an acknowledgement or response from either of our Honourable leaders. We have lost seven young men in the nation’s largest mass murder and we do not want their deaths and the loss to their families to have occurred in vain. Our borders are open according to one Cabinet member, and the reputation of our entire nation is being
smeared. We will continue to appeal to our leaders for their intervention.

Sincerely,
Gary Aboud
Corporate Secretary
